There is a sucker born every day, according to legend, and of course there are many around the confidence tricksters who are very easy to lift them from their wealth.
Two main drivers of confidence tricksters are gullibility and greed. We realise the incautious and naive and offer something for nothing as an appeal to our natural desires.
There are more con gimmicks from days during the year. The brilliance of confidence tricksters - and the gullibility of Joe Public, would require such a huge book length that would dwarf the holy books on this planet.
For a fraud that was taking all eclipse fraud, or even a fraud that'd be proven fraud of the century, we need look no further than the "global warming have skulduggery" perpetuated by misguided weather scientists and environmental organizations, dishonest, even potently unwittingly broadcast by the incautious, unsuspecting and innocent publications in the media and newswires this world.
What makes this fraud even more worrying is the fact that not exploit the greed, but the gullibility and irony, the disinterested desire of governments, businesses and the public to do good, to "save the world", so to speak!
Scientists for the weather, invoking an issue such as global warming has increased the funding for their research programmes. Environmental organizations such as Greenpeace and Friends of the Earth (FOE) incentives, to a much greater extent some, no less greedy! Fall from each other to champion this cause of the warming of the planet, no one and nothing is spared. As long as the funds continue to roll to finance their activities and the lavish lifestyle of their office operators, and even palm oil has not escaped the literal assault and battery chameleonic these organisations, dressed in the cloak of selfless social conscience and public philanthropy.
In the world many of the so-called distinguished leaders, leading print media and renowned scientists have been quick to weigh in, some purely misled misguided, but others sinisterly riding the crest of the environmental movement for their own selfish reasons, by the use of this very humane and altruistic need to "save the world". Al Gore has divined that the threat of global warming, resulting from human production of greenhouse gases and is "the most serious problem facing our culture!" We should ask ourselves available to the proliferation, increase ethnic tensions and the ever-widening gap between rich and poor.
The chorus of the media, headed by former renowned organizations such as the New York Times, the Public Broadcasting System and Scientific American fanned have the fear of climate change.
Just recently, the producer Lush cosmetics is also jumping on the band wagon to create a forum to find alternatives for palm oil cultivation professing to be unbearable, but is still found in many products, including daily soap and moisturizers . Aligning with Greenpeace and Friends of the Earth (FOE), argues that the Lush palm oil production will involve "highly destructive practices in such countries Malaysia and Indonesia, where they say that forests are switched off to make way for cultivating the crop . "
However, as the Palm Oil Truth Foundation has shown, nothing could be further from the truth, especially when Malaysia is concerned. Apart from being the motive for the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), Malaysia has long sought sustainable planting policies. Much of palm oil production in Malaysia grown on legitimate land or in areas with over previously logged. In fact, Malaysia introduced the environmental impact assessment of the procedures for all development projects, in 1988. Publication of environment friendly and enforcement under various laws such as the Environmental Quality Act, the Land Conservation Act and the National Forest Act "to minimise the impact of population growth and human activities associated with exploration of mining, deforestation, agriculture, urbanization, tourism, and development of other resources, the environment, "Malaysia had shown the foresight and leadership in promoting sound environmental practices for about 20 years now.
Even then, says Andrew Butler, Campaign Manager for the dense vegetation: "If everybody reduced their use of palm oil from 50% of biofuels and boycotted any use, then it could be a sustainable oil. Not given enough time to sit back and say - government needs to exert pressure on manufacturers now. "Calling forum" Active Seeking alternatives Palm (ASAP), "and argues that it has already attracted interest from a handful of soap and small food businesses, Butler hopes that large retailers will cooperate with the forum.
However, the big manufacturers do not seem to have intended to leave palm oil. Instead, these indistinguishable, Unilever, Tesco, Boots, Sainsbury and Marks and Spencer, they want to continue working with industry-led Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO).
Given the Malaysian performance and including the planting sustainable, environmentally friendly practices for 2 decades now, certainly calls into question the motives behind these baseless attempts to attach palm oil, a legitimate agricultural product a developing country. It could be that the product is proving hugely from a handful for competing oilseeds of the developed world, such as soybean, rapeseed and sunflower oil.
